Description
A closed-loop system continuously monitors the exhaust gases to determine if the mixture is too weak or too rich, and then adjusts the mixture to compensate for varying loads and driving styles. This type of system gives better performance/economy than an open-loop system.
This upgrade kit contains all of the components needed to convert an open-loop, single-point induction system to a closed-loop system, i.e. lambda probe, boss (to weld into the exhaust system), lambda control unit, loom and stepper motor valve.
The lambda control unit is tuned using the integral lights that show when the mixture is weak or rich (so you don’t need a laptop PC).
Suitable for carburetted and injected engines.
This kit is based on the Stag-L plus system.
